Nestled at 22365 Grand River Ave, this charming American restaurant is a beloved staple for locals and visitors alike. With a reputation for serving quick, delicious meals in a friendly atmosphere, it’s no wonder regulars keep coming back for more.

The menu features a diverse range of breakfast sandwiches, all priced around US$5.59 to US$7.50. Whether you opt for the savory Smoked Ham and Egg Sandwich or the classic Bacon and Egg Sandwich, you’re guaranteed a satisfying start to your day. For melt lovers, the Nicky D's Melts are not to be missed, especially the classic Patty Melt with its gooey Swiss and American cheese combination that oozes comfort on rye bread.

But the offerings don’t stop at sandwiches. For those with a penchant for breakfast fare at any hour, 3 pancakes at just US$4.89 is a steal. Customer favorites include the Texas French Toast and a delightful assortment of blueberry, strawberry, and pecan waffles, all sure to satisfy your sweet cravings. With options that appeal to every palate, it’s easy to see why the pancakes and waffles have garnered rave reviews, particularly from night owls like Ian Smith who enjoyed his pancake feast at 1 AM.

What really elevates the experience, though, is the attention to detail shown by the staff. Reviewers like Emily Cutler commend the quick service and highlight the quality of the food, including the highly-praised Greek salad with grilled chicken. Many have also noted the generous portions where, as noted by Ian, even late-night orders are delivered with care and a smile. Regina Foster adds to this sentiment, emphasizing the cleanliness and family-owned charm that make Nicky D's stand out from other Coney Islands in the area.

The local love for Nicky D's is evident, as is the passion for quality food. So if you're looking for a place that embodies comfort food, excellent service, and a sense of community, make your way to Nicky D's Coney Island on Grand River. I've been ordering food here for years. They are quick and the food is consistently good. Highly recommend the Greek salad with grilled chicken--they have the best Greek dressing I've ever had. Burgers are great and they do not skimp on the fries (the pic was taken after I had already eaten quite a few too!)

Food tasted great, I ordered a pancake breakfast at 1am and it still came out in 5 minutes. I forgot to add a few items at the intercom but the lady at the window had no issue with updating my order and didn’t get upset or acted like she hated life lol. I paid around $18 bucks for; 3 pancakes, 4 sausages, 4 bacon, scrambled eggs w/ cheese and an OJ. P.S. if you like syrup like me, it’s plus to have some at the crib

Terrific, fantastic, super delicious, fast, delightful, wonderful! I loved it! Great people, fun visit! Will definitely visit again. My mouth was in happy heaven with the turkey slim Jim & fantastic fries!!! Yum!

The best Chicken Geek Salad ever... Chicken is flavored..that Greek dressing is the best ever!! Nicky D's need to give a tutorial class to these Coney Island's restaurants on how to make Chicken Greek salads... seriously...
